How to book a House Sitter

Step 1:

Click on our Pricelist to see if you are happy with our prices before requesting a quotation or house sitter.

Request a Quotation via e-mail:

Specify departure date and return date.
Specify in which suburb you live.
Also remember to include your contact details, as well as your name and surname.

Please mention if you require a retired sitter who stays during the day as well as during the night

Dog walking is extra, please specify if you need dog walking included in your quotation.

Step 2:

If you are satisfied with the quote please let us know via e-mail.

We will then send you the profile of the confirmed house sitter available for you to meet.

Step 3:

Pay the R150 deposit. (Banking details on quotation)

Once we have received your proof of payment we will ask the sitter to contact you to come and meet you and we will e-mail you their contact details.

You can choose to meet another sitter if you are not 100% happy with the first sitter that you have met, however our clients are always happy with the first sitter we send them.

Step 4:

If you are happy with the house sitter that we sent you, you will have to make a payment of the full amount outstanding before you go on holiday.  We do not pay the sitter in advance.  See step 5.

Once you are happy with the house sitter you will sign the contract with him / her, give them instructions and the keys.

Step 5:

When you return from your trip please let us know if you were happy with the house sitter in order that we may pay him / her.

*Our procedure for making a booking for December is different.

Please note:  This is only a guideline as to how Occupied House Sitters normally works.  Should you have any special requests, please do not hesitate to contact us.
